The Century Armalite MK1 is widely considered one of the most legendary, iconic "old school" carp fishing rods ever created. Originally produced in the 1990s, it built an enduring reputation as a premier "player's rod," celebrated for its distinctive carbon-Kevlar weave blank and deep, highly forgiving through-action.
Unlike modern stiff, distance-focused casting machines, the Armalite Mk1 was built specifically to absorb the aggressive lunges of a powerful fish under the rod tip while preventing hook pulls.
